Bowling Green Hot Rods (High-A East) announced the new logo and jersey for the 2022 season, which is the third set of logos since the team's first season in 2009.

The new look is an extension of the new logo launched in 2015, introducing the orange and blue colors that are still in use today.

Although the team will still use the interlocking "BG", cursive Bowling Green, "flaming ball" and cross wrench and bat logos, due to Brandon Lamarche's design at 32 Design Studios, the club word logo and iconic hot rod are being accepted upgrade.

The Hot Rods wordmark will no longer be slanted in ascending order in a smaller block font. Instead, the logo will feature large flowing letters, with "H" and "R" having letter extensions to emphasize each word. The updated wordmark will appear on three uniforms in 2022, including the classic home whites.

The new hot rod car logo has also been refurbished, with brighter colors and more details. There is no doubt that this logo is a match in every sense. The car uses a smooth coup design, with a hood scoop, burning tires and a large grill with a silver baseball on the top. The interlocking "BG" on the wheels-the original Baron Bowling Green logo-is reminiscent of the Bowling Green baseballs of the late 1930s and early 1940s.

A clean-looking white pants/sweatshirt combination with orange and blue stripes on each sleeve and trim around the neck. The new Hot Rods wordmark extends to the chest in the team’s navy blue, while the number on the left lower abdomen is orange with blue piping. The classic main "BG" logo and a circle around the outside are displayed on the left sleeve. The appearance ends with a new field hat: an orange lid with an interlocking "BG" logo with a dark blue outline.

The team will pay tribute to their parent club and get a new look at their home games every Sunday. Hot Rods will wear a new light blue jersey and white pants with the word "Hot Rods" on the chest. The wordmark is orange with a navy blue outline, as are the numbers on the left lower abdomen, and the sleeves are trimmed with orange, white, and blue stripes, as are the necklines. The main circled "BG" logo is displayed on the left sleeve. This uniform also has a special hat: a light blue rear three panels, and the two white panels in front of the hat bear the new car logo and are framed by a navy blue sun visor.

The last uniform to be overhauled was an orange substitute. The orange buttoned jersey includes a large blue accent with white piping, starting from the collar, extending to the underarms above the chest, and running down each side of the jersey. The new Hot Rods wordmark on the chest and the number on the lower left are navy blue with white and navy blue outlines. The main circled "BG" logo is displayed on the left sleeve, and each sleeve is decorated with blue and white stripes. This uniform is also equipped with a new field hat: orange, interlocking "BG" logo with a dark blue outline.

Yes, items with the new logo can be purchased at Hot Rods’ team store, The Body Shop or bghotrods.com.
